Brandon Workman was drafted in the 3rd round in the 2007 MLB draft by Philadelphia. Was a Louisville Slugger All-American as a senior compiling a 10-2 record with a 0.91 era with an astounding 171 strikeouts in 76 innings.  For UT, Brandon was a busy freshman; making 20 appearances - 6 of those starts compiling a 5-2 record with 49 strikeouts in 50.1 innings of work.
